Целта на проекта е засилване на интереса на младите учени към реализация в научната работа чрез предоставяне на допълнителни възможности за повишаване на равнището на квалификация: увеличаване на възможностите за научни комуникации, участие в национални и международни школи, конференции, семинари, обмен на практики с европейски астрономически институции, подготовка за популяризирането на астрономически знания.
