Providing financial compensation to "Ditex MS" EOOD for aquaculture production providing environmental services will encourage production and ensure better environmental protection. By providing compensation for the additional costs and foregone benefits in the production and cultivation of aquaculture, the biodiversity and habitats of the species on the territory of the aquaculture farm in the Negovanka Dam will be preserved, which falls within the boundaries of the protected areas of the NATURA 2000 network within the meaning of the Biological Diversity Act - BG 0000 216 - "Emen" for the protection of natural habitats and wild flora and fauna, announced by Order No. RD-687/25.08.2020 of the Minister of Environment and Waters (updated in the State Gazette No. 79/2020)
Ditex MS EOOD realized in 2024 net revenues from the sale of fish in the amount of 53,779.65 leva.
The company is registered under Art. 25 of the CAA, has registration under Art. 137 of a livestock facility. Fish farm "Negovanka" falls within the boundaries of a protected area of "Natura 2000" and has an area of 21.2 ha, and the following fish species are grown: carp, silver carp, grass carp, European catfish and crucian carp. The aquaculture farm applies methods for environmental services by growing fish in earthen basins and in cages, which are open in their upper part in order to preserve biodiversity, preserve existing ecosystems, and protect flora and fauna. The calculated compensations are in accordance with the Methodology for calculating compensations when implementing an aquaculture operation providing environmental services (Annex No. 2) and do not exceed 15% of the realized income from aquaculture in 2024. We are applying for compensation for the period until 31.12.2029, and each year we will provide the Managing Board of PMDRA by June 30 with information necessary to calculate the final premium for the respective year based on the submitted financial documents for the past year.

Отглеждане на аквакултури, осигуряващи екологични услуги: Осъществяването на дейността по отглеждане на аквакултури в язовир Негованка, попадащ в границите на защитени зони по Натура 2000, е добре планирано и управлявано като се използват аквакултурни практики, които допринасят за опазването на околната среда и биоразнообразието, като същевременно осигуряват устойчиво производство на храна.
- Рибовъдното стопанството е поликултурно - отглеждат се на различни видове риби ( шаран, толстолоб, бял амур, европейски сом, каракуда) в един и същ язовир, което е полезно за околната среда. Различните видове заемат различни ниши в екосистемата, което намалява конкуренцията за ресурси и подпомага биоразнообразието. Поликултурата също така увеличава общата продуктивност на язовира.
- Стопанството е с органично производство - производството на аквакултури е без използване на химикали и антибиотици, което ще намали негативното въздействие върху околната среда. Органичните методи включват използването на естествени фуражи и минимална намеса в природните процеси, което подпомага здравословната екосистема.
Отглеждането на аквакултури в язовир Негованка има значителен положителен ефект върху околната среда, като същевременно подпомага устойчивото развитие и опазването на биоразнообразието и продоволствието на населението.
