The project proposal envisages major repairs to the roof of the "House of Traditions" building in the village of Staro Zhelezare, Hisarya municipality, a municipal property used as a museum.
The building, subject to construction, is a multi-massive one-story residential building - museum with a built-up area of ​​278.89 m2, located in the RPL I - museum, in quarter 57 according to the plan of the village of Staro Zhelezare, Hisarya municipality. In the same RPL, a shed has been built, representing a large building with an area of ​​85.55 m2.
The existing siding skirts on the roof, the cisterns, and the gutters have corroded over the years and need to be replaced in order to prevent the facade of the building from being compromised.
The following types of roof repair work are planned: replacement of tiles, repair of part of the wooden ribs, laying of a dense board sheathing, a breathable membrane and a wooden grill for installing the tiles. The tiles are planned to be dismantled and sorted for reuse. It is planned to replace those unfit for reuse with new Old Bulgarian tiles. It is planned to replace the old galvanized sheet metal siding on the roof, replace water cisterns and gutters. The construction repair work on the roof includes the replacement of tiles and ridge caps.
