The main problem of the region is the impossibility of financing information and advertising facilities for the promotion of the municipality of Lyaskovets among tourists and guests, and attracting funds to improve the state of the tourist infrastructure. Currently, the planned public spaces are not used as intended for the promotion of the town of Lyaskovets as a tourist destination and, in turn, are empty spaces that are not fully utilized. The selected public spaces are in key locations of the city of Lyaskovets.
It is important to note that interested parties in the implementation of the present project are the residents of the municipality of Lyaskovets, tourists and guests. The lack of information and advertising facilities on the territory of the town of Lyaskovets has negative consequences for tourism and the lack of recognition as a tourist destination.
The current public spaces are at key points of the city of Lyaskovets, the main part of which is tourism, which will stimulate the development and increase the competitiveness of other similar branches of the economy, and more specifically of trade, transport, communications, agriculture, the production of goods for bits etc. With the implementation of the project "Increasing the tourist potential of the municipality of Lyaskovets" the following results are aimed to be achieved:
• Improving the tourist infrastructure on the territory of Lyaskovets municipality and creating favorable conditions for the development of tourism on the territory of Lyaskovets municipality;
• Increased interest in cultural and historical sites on the territory of Lyaskovets municipality.
